Khatushyamji Temple
Khatushyamji Temple is located in the Ringus (Sikar) district of Rajasthan, India and is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the state. It is located near the city of success rural area. According to Hindu mythology, Khatushyamji (Barbarik) is a manifestation of Ghatotkacha, the son of Barbarik. He is the grandson of Bhima and Hidimba. There is a saying that the devotees who chant his name from the bottom of their heart they becomes blessed and if they do it with true devotion then their troubles vanish. Khatushyam ji is known by the names Barbarik, Sheesh ke Dani, Hare Ka Sahara, Three Arrows Dhari, Lakha-Datari, Lilke Aswar, Khatu Naresh, Kalyugke Avatar, Shyam Pyare etc.
Visitor Timings:
Temple timings are as follows:
- In winters: 5.30-1.00 am and 4.00-9.00 pm.
- In Summers: 4.30 AM to 12.30 PM and 4.00 PM to 10 PM.
The temple remains open 24 hours a day on Ekadashi of every Shukla Paksha, it means on the 11th of Shukla Paksha of every month in the Hindu calendar. The temple also remains open during the 4-day Phalgun fair.
